My Vow
Let's paint the sky
Into a spectrum bow
Shimmering all around
a dangling lunar pendulum bob.
With the nightingale
Let's sing a symphonious vow
Of the story of us
Adrift a voyage of our life.
Anchor in pacifics of joy
For better for worse
Felicitous nary a remorse
Till we lay, our spines down the Nile.
All are scoundrels
You for millenniums, I choose
Tight close, you I hold not loose
I for you and you for I as the goose
Down a river of life we cruise.
To love you selflessly
Carry you on with respect and gratuity
Not to fract but fabricate
Queen and king In our painted sky,
This is my vow.

A superb love poem. It's not easy to write original love poems. The genre has been the bulk of poetry since they were first put down into words.
ReplyDeleteUsually, I pick out my favorite lines, place them in quotes and make comments on them.
This piece is clever work, I would have to quote the whole thing!
Hermes, Hermès Hermès. I am astonishingly astounded.
