Couldn't Live Without You

In a broken heart
hibernates a languid soul
Deep In remorse and remenesence
In a world of a goose egg of compassion
Nor passion, except depression

Melancholy touching the tops
And bottoms of an encyclopedia of rue
Slithers and sibilates in agony
Despair and hysterical overwrought

Memory flashes of her diary
In her last minutes of light she wrote
"without you, I can't leave"

Ready for his last moment,
He kicks a stool below his feet
Dangles off a rope
Set for the love, gone before him!
