Eight teen

People say age is just a number,

I say it's is a delusion of a deluxe illusion.

Age is not something you have,

It's, "what you are, what you were & that you'll be"

The melting candles smokes & blows

Are nary an impression

neither the flickering crackers,

And the irksome confectionery traditions.

It's the memoir,

The tactile of the reality of life,

a fact that things will never be the same again

Are the annual novembrine 27th's package.

People say nothing changes,

Withal for my case it all changed then,

when I went to bed an old child,

And woke up a young man.
