Homecoming
Among hails of my wail
along lousy sidewalks of life
see a night so dark reincarnates
unfolding an orchestra of sombre
sinking I deep down a lake of grief.
There where lost was I
where I needed someone,
a shoulder to lean on and cry
someone to bring me back to life
out of oblivion, you were that only.
When I needed a place
that place to feel like home
to heal and nurse my wounds
you were that place and here we're
behold in you I fell and forever I dwell.
Touching.
